What is it?

Help secure the income of your employees income in case of injury or illness.  This 24-hour protection usually covers between 50% and 70% of an employee’s salary.   You will choose the level of coverage.  This coverage lasts for the first 16 weeks of disability.  The employee only pays income tax while on disability if the employer had paid the premium for this benefit.  If the employee pays for this, the benefit is tax-free.
