Day 13 - Storm Preparations and Fishing Boat

Todd Ellis |

So we thought we might have a chance of getting ahead of a storm front.  We had boat sailing at top speeds and were going 7.5 knots most of the day.

As a part of our preparations, we put our two running back stays on, filled the diesel, engine oil and cooking fuel as well as lashing down any and all essentials.

Our watch schedule has become important as a result of the dynamic and ever-changing weather.

We had a commercial fishing boat pass by us heading North.

Nice to see someone on the water.

Awaiting tomorrow's weather with the hopes the storm front has slowed. Time for some rest.
